Bukan senang untuk berpuasa sebulan di bulan Ramadhan lebih-lebih lagi jika anda tidak berlatih sejak kecil. Namun itu semua cabaran yang sanggup ditempuhi oleh Soo Wincci yang berazam untuk berpuasa penuh tahun ini. Semua ini dilakukan oleh Soo Wincci untuk mendekatkan diri dengan peminat Melayunya yang semakin bertambah semenjak menyertai MasterChef Selebriti Malaysia.
Untuk makluman, ada khabar angin yang menyatakan Soo Wincci berpuasa kerana mempunyai teman lelaki berbangsa Melayu. Malah ada suara-suara yang menyatakan Soo Wincci telah pun memeluk agama Islam. Namun ternyata itu semua tidak benar. Kata Soo Wincci kepada Mstar Online:-
